WCA Worldwide Conference 2023 18 – 22 February 2023, Singapore Sands Expo & Convention Centre (MBS)
We are delighted to finally join the WCA Worldwide Conference after a frustrating three-year break enforced by Covid. The conference returns to Singapore with a bang as not only the largest logistics networking conference ever held, but will also celebrate 25 years of WCAworld, following its formation in 1998. To celebrate the 25th Anniversary WCA will be hosting a range of special social networking events alongside the vital One-on-One business meetings. With well in excess of 3,000 members in attendance from over 180 countries, we will be able to expand our company’s visibility, reach new markets and raise company awareness on a global scale.

WCA eCommerce is a worldwide network of eCommerce logistics companies, fulfilment and distribution companies and other members of local and international cross-border eCommerce supply chain. WCA eCommerce Association consists of more than 350 members. The network was launched in September 2016 in Miami.
During 3rd WCA eCommerce Conference Miramar Logistics Pte Ltd joined the panel “Marketplace Shipping Platforms and Online Shippers – What’s needed from a 3PL?” and in coopration with it’s partners has presented company’s vision of future e-commerce development and e-commerce logistics products which Miramar Logistics Pte Ltd is developing.
October 8–10, 2019, Big Industrial Week took place in Cairo (the capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt) as part of African Industrial Forum.
Miramar Logistics Pte Ltd took part in the event as delegates of thematic sessions in logistics, trade and industrial zones development. Company’s representatives have visited all the events of the Big Industrial Week which lasted for four days. Negotiations with several Egyptian and African logistics companies were held. Main communication topics were about Logistics support of industrial zones and investment projects and Discussions of advanced manufacturing, international cooperation and export opportunities.
Several important events took place, as part of the forum. Among them, main plenary session “Africa. Advanced Manufacturing Site” (October 9, 2019). The event was attended by top-management of world-known companies and high level of government authorities. We had an honor to take part in discussions which such speakers as Minister of Trade and Industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt Amr Nassar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Afreximbank Benedikt Orama, Chairman of the Board of the Federation of Egyptian Industry Mohamed Zaki El Sweedy, Chairman of the Chambers of Commerce of Egypt Ibrahim El Arabi, CEO of Siemens Egypt Emad Ghaly.
June 18 –22, 2019, Almost 2,000 participants from 78 countries, including almost all African countries, attended this Annual Meeting.
The 2019 Annual Meeting of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), dubbed AAM2019, from 20th to 22nd of June 2019. The overarching theme for the year was: ‘Harnessing Emerging Partnerships in an Era of Protectionism’ while the sub-themes for seminars and Meeting of the Advisory Group on Trade Finance and Export Development in Africa included ‘African Trade and Investment Amid Changing Global Dynamics: Opportunities and Challenges’ and ‘Strengthening Economic Cooperation with Emerging Partners.’
The three days of deliberations (including Meetings of the Advisory Group on Trade Finance and Export Development in Africa, the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, seminars, plenaries and side events) enabled businesses, regional experts and policy makers to connect, explore trade and investment opportunities and develop important business links. During the conference Miramar Logistics Pte Ltd joined wide range of discussions. Railways Infrastructure as the Key Element for Development in Africa, Africa Investment Cooperation: Experience and Perspectives and other. Among the topics was trade and support of integration of African companies into the global economy, Logistics support of African trade, cooperation in e-commerce.

As part of exhibition ECOM Expo’19, Miramar Logistics Pte Ltd joined International Forum “Warehouse and Logistics for E-commerce”
The main topic of this forum was new trends in Europe and activities in e-commerce, development and improvement of warehouse operations and transport logistics by East European companies. Storage of goods, order formation and delivery to end customers in the e-commerce segment. Representatives of Miramar Logistics Pte Ltd took part in all thematic sessions during this two-day event.
